IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrew Craig
Strauber
April 17, 1952 – February 10, 2026
Andrew Craig Strauber, 73, was born on April 17, 1952, in Oceanside, NY. He resided in New York, North Carolina, and New Jersey, before becoming a resident of Culver City since the early 2000's. He passed away on February 10th, 2026.
Andrew was dedicated to the art and magic of Audio, having worked as an Audio Engineer since the early 1980's. He has had a long, storied career, winning several technical Emmy awards, including his work on The West Wing. He was also an essential member of the Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune road crews for many years, offering his services primarily in setting up and maintaining their telecommunications. Even after officially retiring, he would still take the occasional freelance job, mixing audio for a variety of sporting events.
Andrew was also a musician. He acquired a collection of over forty guitars and basses and would frequently host jam sessions in his Culver City home, which he lovingly rebuilt from the studs up into his own special living space. In the last few years, he also engaged in several Sim games, including setting up a racing simulator in his dining room, so that he could race around the world without ever leaving the house.
He is survived by his son, Justin, his sister, AJ, and his former spouse, Laura.
Andrew had always said he would continue working until it wasn't fun anymore, and even in retirement, he didn't stop working. He is fondly remembered by his friends and former coworkers, and his legacy will live on in his contributions to his craft.
