Connie M. Davila passed away peacefully on April 5, 2025, in Whittier, California, at the age of 93. Born on September 26, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois, Connie eventually made her home in San Pedro, California, where she lived for 63 years. She also spent meaningful time living in Monterrey, Mexico, a place close to her heart.
A devoted homemaker, Connie was known for her fierce independence and unwavering confidence in her choices. She lived life on her own terms and brought that same strength and conviction to everything she did.
Connie was deeply engaged in her community, volunteering her time and energy with the American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels, and Heal the Bay. She was also a proud member of La Civica of Long Beach, where she built lifelong friendships and served with joy and purpose.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Davila. She will always be remembered by loved one's Francisco Davila of San Diego; her nephews Roberto Garcia and Raul Garcia of Los Angeles; her nieces Rousalene Garcia and Elisa Garcia of Los Angeles; her grandnieces Isabella Alcantara and Adahlia Hagen of Los Angeles; and her grandnephew Adam Garcia.
Connie's legacy of compassion, strength, and service lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all who knew her.
