Edward Everette Emerson, born on December 3, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, passed away on March 23, 2026, in Los Angeles, California. He lived in Los Angeles County for approximately 65 years and also spent part of his life in Quito, Ecuador.

Edward worked as a parcel driver and was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. He attended John Marshall High School and later continued his education at Los Angeles Community College. During his high school years, he was a member of the golf team and was also involved in the Boy Scouts at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School.

An interesting aspect of Edward’s life was his experience as an extra in the film Catholic (Cradle Catholic) “All Hell Breaks Loose in Frogtown.”

He will be remembered for his life experiences, his dedication to his work, and the connections he made with those around him.

Edward is survived by his mother, Rose V. Emerson; his sister, Gizelle G. James; his brother-in-law, Keith D. James; his nephews, Scotland W. MacDonald and Kirkland J. Mac-Donald; his first cousins, Rex M. Denson and Denise Marie Denson; and his aunt, Maria Magdalena Godoy.

He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.
