With heavy hearts, the Marquez Varela family announces the passing of Enrique Marquez Varela, who died peacefully at his home in Los Angeles, California, on December 9, 2024, at the age of 56.

Enrique was born on February 4, 1968, in Yepomera, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Jose and Elvia Marquez. He was the eldest of four siblings and a beloved son, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by his brothers, Cesar Marquez Varela of Clermont, Florida, and Jose Marquez Varela of Leoti, Kansas; his sister, Noemi Marquez Varela of Leoti, Kansas; and nine cherished nieces and nephews. Enrique was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

The Marquez Varela family will honor his memory with a private funeral ceremony at a later date.
