Evi Kourtessis, passed away on April 26, 2026, in Arcadia, California. She was born on August 30, 1966, in Athens, Greece, to Demietrios Kourtessis and Theofilis Amelia.

Evi made her home in Pasadena, California, where she resided at the time of her passing, and lived in Los Angeles County for more than 33 years. Prior to moving to California, she also lived in Chicago. She worked as a medical transcriber. Evi attended Oak Park and River Forest High School and continued her education at Loyola College.

She is lovingly remembered by her brothers, John Kourtessis and Spiro Kourtessis; her nephew, Cayden; and her sisters-in-law, Joanna Kourtessis and Guillermina Kourtessis. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
