Maurice Roy Robson was born on January 24, 1936, in London, England, to Rosina Drinkwater and Robert Robson. He passed away on August 14, 2026, in Santa Monica, California.

Maurice lived in Los Angeles County for 10 years and previously resided in Santa Rosa, California; Farmington, Connecticut; Montreal, Quebec; and London, England. He worked as an HVAC designer for approximately 50 years. He attended Sir George Williams Campus University in Montreal, Quebec.

Throughout his life, Maurice volunteered with the Sierra Club and Boy Scouts. He was a world explorer and pursued many passions, including skiing, mountain climbing, art, sailing, and boat design and building.

He is survived by his ex-wife, Lois Robson of Santa Monica, California; his daughter, Sarah Robson of Santa Monica, California; and his sister, Roberta Robson of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
