Nancy Jean Nix, born November 7, 1937, passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 87. She resided in Los Angeles, California, and dedicated her career to the field of librarianship.

Nancy was the daughter of James Frederick, originally from Florida, and Beulah Josephine Britt of Kansas. Though no surviving family is known, Nancy's contributions as a librarian reflect a life spent in service to knowledge and her community.

She will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Sylmar, California, in a private burial service. May she be remembered with quiet respect and peace.
