IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Norma Jean
Franco
May 8, 1953 – July 14, 2025
Norma Jean Franco of West Covina, California, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born in Tucson, Arizona, Norma made Southern California her home for over 45 years, living in cities including Huntington Park and Azusa. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and a beloved member of her community.
Norma had a long career in customer service, working at stores such as Target, Walmart, Home Depot, and Albertsons. She also served as a recess monitor and costume designer at Miles Avenue Elementary School, where her creativity and warmth touched the lives of many children.
A talented seamstress and fashion design student in Los Angeles, Norma had a gift for drawing and crafting her own garments. Her artistry was matched by her beautiful singing voice, which brought joy to those around her.
She is survived by her loving children—George, Jennifer, and Jackie—and her cherished grandchildren—Matthew, Zaya, Ricky, Sophie, and Lea—all residing in Los Angeles County.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Armstrong, Garcia, and McKenzie Mortuary, located at 931 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
Memorial flowers may be sent to the mortuary. Donations are also welcome via Zelle at georgeaaronpaez@yahoo.com or Venmo @George-Paez-2.
