Stephen Marcus Byork Jr., 87, passed away on March 31, 2026, in West Covina, California. He was born on March 21, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Stephen was a longtime resident of Los Angeles County, where he lived for 55 years, including earlier years in Manhattan Beach. He built a distinguished career as an electrical engineer and was known for his dedication, precision, and thoughtful approach to his work.

He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Signal Corps. Stephen pursued his education at Penn Yann Academy and New York University. Beyond his professional life, he was a passionate naturalist.

Stephen was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Glenna Grossman. He is survived by his daughter, Kristin Lewis, and his cherished grandchildren: Timothy Joseph Lewis Jr., Mary Elizabeth Lewis, Caroline Anne Lewis, and Stephen Edward Lewis.
