Viola Ann Oswalt, born on August 14, 1937, in Waterbury, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024, in Los Angeles, California, where she had resided for the past three and a half years. She was 87 years old.

Viola was a devoted mother, and a successful businesswoman. For over 45 years, she owned and operated VIP Cleaning Services, where her work ethic and dedication earned her a loyal clientele and the respect of her community. Her entrepreneurial spirit was matched only by her love for her family and her beloved cat, Tinkerbelle.

Viola was married to Warren Porter, who preceded her in death. She later married Rick Oswalt, with whom she shared many memories before their divorce in December 2007. She is survived by her four children: Bobbie Belbeck of New Port Richey, FL; Wayne Porter of Spring Hill, FL; Richard Porter of Sebring, FL; and Rebecca Tarani of Los Angeles, CA. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Armstrong, Garcia, and McKenzie Mortuary Chapel, followed by burial at Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.

Viola's vibrant spirit and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
