Funeral Arranger

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Arranger to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating funeral services, supporting families during their time of loss, and ensuring all aspects of the funeral process are handled with professionalism and care. REQUIRED to be fluent in English and Spanish. REQUIRED to hold an Arrangement Councilor Certificate.

Duties:

• Meet with families to discuss and arrange funeral service details
• Coordinate transportation of the deceased
• Prepare and file legal documents
• Assist families in selecting caskets, urns, flowers, and other funeral merchandise
• Arrange funeral services in accordance with the family's wishes
• Provide grief support and assistance to bereaved families

Skills:

• Proficient in funeral arranging practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with grieving families
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Experience in event planning for coordinating funeral services
• Sales skills for assisting families with funeral merchandise selection
• Capability for heavy lifting when necessary

REQUIRED:

• Must be fluent in English and Spanish
• Must hold Arrangement Councilor Certificate.
