This non-declinable fee was established to include: sheltering of remains, preparing, obtaining and filing necessary notices, authorizations, permits, and coordinating final disposition arrangements. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.) 

This service includes basic preparation, disinfecting, dressing, and casketing. Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. California Health and Safety Code Section 1223C requires refrigeration of an un-embalmed body if held over twenty-four (24) hours

This includes sanitizing the body, minimal cosmetics, hairdressing, shaving, and/or trimming of hair and cuticles.

This service includes the transfer of remains from the place of death to the funeral home. For locations outside of Los Angeles County, Transfer of Remains will be billed at the rate of $3.50 per mile. Additional fees apply for transportation lasting more than 2 hours. Other fees may apply.

For transportations lasting longer than 2 hours due to circumstances outside the control of funeral personnel.

This service includes transportation of remains to or from an airport or other facility and will be charged in addition to the Transfer of Remains fee when applicable.

This service includes transfer of remains from the funeral home to another location such as a church or graveside within a 50 mile radius.

The normal time frame for receiving remains back at the funeral home once the release to cremate has been signed is seven (7) working days. If you wish to have a service or burial sooner than this, priority clearance must be given by the crematory, and a priority service fee will be applied. This fee also applies when picking up products or cremains after regular business hours or on weekends.

Monday thru Friday. The crematory allows up to 30 minutes for the family to attend and witness the cremation. They also allow up to 10 guests.

These services are done privately and at the convenience of the funeral home.

Scattering at Sea

Family and friends can share in a tribute and scattering of their loved ones on a Coast Guard Certified Yacht accommodating up to 35 persons. The yacht will depart from the Long Beach area.

This service is handled via the U.S. Postal Service.

This fee is for obtaining certificates or permits at the requests of out-of-area- funeral homes.

Our services include documentation for international shipping of remains, exclusive of consulate fees and /or foreign country fees.

It does not include shipping charges, a shipping container, the use of facilities and staff for visitation or ceremonies or transportation to or from the airport.

This service includes minimum services of staff and local transportation to the cemetery. It does not include any merchandise, the use of facilities and staff for visitation, ceremonies, or transportation to or from the airport.

This service includes the basic professional services, transfer of remains (up to 2 hours), casketing, vehicle for casket transport to the cemetery, and delivery and placement of burial equipment. This service does not include the casket, visitation, rites or ceremonies performed at the funeral home, graveside, or elsewhere. The burial will take place during the week and during regular business hours. The family will receive minimal notice when the burial is to take place.

This service includes the basic professional services, transfer of remains (up to 2 hours), transfer of remains to the crematory, and return of cremated remains to the funeral home. This service does not include the cremation container (casket), urn, or crematory fees.

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are made of linerboard or unfinished wood.
